Tinubu Has Four Years And That’s It, Obi Will Rule Nigeria Next” — Azomchime

As political activity ramps up ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Obidient Movement continues to gain momentum, with strong grassroots support and strategic planning aimed at reshaping Nigeria’s leadership. Hon. Adam Azomchime, Southeast Coordinator of the movement, spoke passionately during a recent political broadcast, asserting that Peter Obi remains the central figure of a growing national awakening.

Azomchime dismissed any claims of disunity within the Obidient ranks or the Labour Party, stressing that the movement is far bigger than any single political platform. “We’ve never been just Labour Party,” he said. “Obidients are in PDP, APC, ADC — even among the military and police, their children are now Obidient.”

He described Peter Obi’s 2027 game plan as dynamic and far-reaching, revealing that the former governor is exploring various political options. Using a symbolic expression, he said, “He’s carrying three backpacks,” suggesting Obi is prepared for different paths, including alliances and mergers similar to how the APC was once formed. “He’s negotiating — and it’s smart. The same way APC was born from mergers, we too are building something massive.”

When asked about the possibility of Obi teaming up again with Atiku Abubakar, Azomchime was unequivocal: “Obi will never be vice president to anyone. He is the face of the Nigerian dream.”

Speaking on the broader topic of power rotation and regional politics, Azomchime stressed that the country should prioritize competence above zoning: “Let’s be honest. After Tinubu’s four years, Nigeria will reassess. If Tinubu performs well, fine. If not, the people will choose competence over region. And Peter Obi is already the answer.”

He ended with a bold prediction that has become a rallying cry among supporters: “Tinubu has four years and that’s it — Obi will rule Nigeria next.”

For Azomchime and the Obidient Movement, the mission is crystal clear: to build inclusive coalitions, educate voters, and push for a future driven by merit, integrity, and accountable governance.
