On Friday, the senator commissioned additional projects, including a 20,000-litre borehole in Okene and another 50,000-litre solar-powered water reticulation project in Okaito, serving Okehi and Adavi LGAs. Smart streetlights were also installed in Obangede, Eika, and Kuroko communities.

Other benefiting areas include Ajaokuta Village, Nagazi, Oro Layout, Ebogogo, Adogo, Ebiya, Ogaminana, Geregu, Elete, Ajaokuta Township, Iruvusechi, and Eika Ohizenyi, bringing the total number of solar-powered water projects executed across Kogi Central to 40.

As part of the anniversary activities, Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan is also set to commission additional facilities such as smart markets, a primary healthcare centre, and schools. She announced plans to empower constituents with electric vehicles and livelihood equipment to boost economic activities in the region.
