President Muhammadu Buhari Reacts To Lagos Train & BRT Accident Says It’s Extremely Sad And Distressing

The President of the federal republic of Nigeria, General Muhammadu Buhari (RTD), has reacted to the accident at the level crossing involving a train and BRT staff bus in Lagos.

Mr President took to his official Twitter handle to react to the sad and distressing incident.

“The accident at the level crossing involving a train and BRT staff bus is distressing and extremely sad.” Said, President Buhari.

The President prayed for the souls of the deceased and quick recovery of the injured, and at same time commended the Lagos State government for prompt response to the incident.

“The prompt response of Lagos State authorities and @NigeriaGov agencies is commendable.” President Muhammadu Buhari said.

Recall, the accident, according to Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu, claimed no fewer than six lives, while several others who sustained injury are responding to treatment at the government hospital in Lagos State.

May God Almighty console the families of those who lost their lives in the accident, and grants the injured quick recovery.
