Presidency 2023: Tinubu Wins Peter Obi, Atiku In All 16 Local Govt Areas In Ekiti With 201,486 Votes
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has won all the 16 Local Government Areas in Ekiti state. A Media report on Sunday posited that Tinubu beat the Labour Party presidential flagbearer Peter Obi and the PDP standard bearer, Atiku Abubakar in the polls by two hundred and one thousand, four hundred and eighty-six votes (201486). .
Peter Obi was however able to garner eighty nine thousand five hundred and fifty-four votes (89554), coming second at the polls while Atiku Abubakar who came third got eleven thousand three hundred and ninety-seven votes (11397).

Recall that Peter Obi who earlier on Saturday won majority of Local government areas in states in the South East and Lagos has continued to trail in the South West and Northern part of the country where the APC and the PDP have major stronghold.
It has also been reiterated that a candidate must win at least 25% of the ballots cast in two-thirds of Nigeria’s 36 states to be declared winner of the presidential elections.
