Instead Of Osinbajo To Support Me, He Said He Is Better & Experienced Than Me, But I Won Him – Tinubu Says
The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has taken a swipe at the vice president of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo for contesting against him at the APC primaries last year, while addressing APC supporters at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, on Tuesday afternoon at the grand finale of the APC presidential campaign rally.
Bola Tinubu while addressing his supporters firstly commended the president of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari for returning the favour that he rendered to him in 2015 because he was one of the people who stood by Buhari and asked Nigerians to vote for him.

He also stated that he was the one who nominated Yemi Osinbajo as Buhari’s running mate, but instead of Yemi Osinbajo to step down during the APC primaries, he contested against Bola Tinubu.
Bola Tinubu who seems to still be surprised by the actions of the vice president stressed that when he confronted Yemi Osinbajo, he told him that he has more experience than him and Nigerians love him than Tinubu. However, Bola Tinubu while knocking Yemi Osinbajo for his actions said that he won him at the APC primaries to become the flagbearer of the party.
Tinubu said, “I saved you (Buhari) to nominate for me, just exactly like I did you in 2015 and you stood by me”. “Instead of Osinbajo to support me, he said that he is better and experienced than me, but I won him”.
