Former President Buhari Welcomes APC Governors at Kaduna Residence for Sallah Visit

Former President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday received a delegation of All Progressives Congress (APC) governors at his Kaduna residence, as part of their Sallah courtesy visit following the completion of Ramadan.
The delegation was led by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, who also serves as Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum (PGF). Uzodimma explained that the visit was to extend Sallah greetings and congratulate the former president on successfully observing the Ramadan fast.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Uzodimma described the gathering as a symbol of continued respect and recognition of Buhari’s leadership.
“This visit is symbolic and deeply rooted in respect, loyalty, and continued appreciation for the statesmanship, leadership, and legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari,” he said.
He added that the APC remains committed to the values of unity and good governance, which Buhari upheld during his time in office.
Among the governors who joined the visit were Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Uba Sani (Kaduna), AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Nasir Idris (Kebbi), and Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo).
Others included Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), and Hyacinth Alia (Benue), all showing solidarity and appreciation to the former president during the festive occasion.
