Daniel Bwala Claims Media is Plotting Against Him
Daniel Bwala, the newly appointed Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, has raised alarm about what he believes to be a conspiracy against him by certain television guests and anchors. In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, Bwala expressed frustration over what he described as an “overwhelming conspiracy” but did not name any specific individuals involved. He urged his followers to pray, claiming that his faith would expose those behind the alleged plot.
Bwala’s appointment, which took place on November 14, has sparked mixed reactions within political circles, especially given his previous role as the spokesperson for the 2023 PDP Presidential Campaign. His shift to a key position in the administration of President Bola Tinubu, representing the ruling APC, has led to significant debate.
Shortly after taking office, Bwala made headlines by claiming to have replaced Ajuri Ngelale as the official spokesman for the president. However, the presidency later issued a clarification, stating that Bwala’s role was that of “Special Adviser Policy Communication,” not spokesperson.
