2027: Peter Obi Stands Taller Than Other Politicians — Nana Sani Kazaure Declares

As political anticipation builds ahead of the 2027 general elections, momentum is once again growing around Labour Party’s Peter Obi, who has confirmed his intention to contest for the presidency a second time. Speaking on Arise News Night, Nana Sani Kazaure, the Director of Strategic Communication and Media for the Obidient Movement, strongly defended Obi’s position and clarified misconceptions about his recent statements.

Kazaure reaffirmed that Peter Obi is still fully committed to the Labour Party, despite ongoing talks about forming coalitions. She dismissed claims that Obi was distancing himself from the party, saying his remarks were misunderstood. “He reaffirmed that if an election were held today, that’s the platform he would run on,” she said.

She also addressed criticisms suggesting that the Obidient Movement is deflecting blame for party instability by pointing fingers at the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Kazaure, calling out political interference isn’t an excuse—it’s about acknowledging real threats to democratic structures. “Nigerians must begin calling things by their real names,” she urged, warning that hidden influences are disrupting opposition parties.

Kazaure’s most powerful statement came when she asserted, “Peter Obi himself is stronger than all these politicians put together. He is more competent, and he has shown capacity—especially when you look at the trajectory of the things that he has done. He’s been consistent.”

She emphasized that Obi’s strength lies not in party politics alone, but in his steady values, proven leadership, and unwavering commitment to national rebirth. His goal, she said, has never been about power for its own sake, but about reviving the hope of Nigerians and giving them a reason to believe in their country again.

As internal party tensions and coalition rumors swirl, Kazaure’s remarks make one thing clear: Peter Obi remains undeterred, focused on a bigger vision—empowering Nigerians to take back their future.
