Imam of Peace Declares Hamas, Hezbollah, IRGC, and Houthis as Islamist Terrorist Organizations

Muhammad Tawhidi, widely recognized as the Imam of Peace, has strongly condemned Hamas, Hezbollah, the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps), and the Houthis, labeling them as Islamist terrorist groups.

In a post on his official X account, he called for decisive action against terrorism and the protection of civilians.

He likened these groups to ISIS, stressing that they should be dealt with in the same way.

He declared, “We must firmly oppose all terrorism, promote peace, justice, and protect civilians. Hamas, Hezbollah, IRGC, and Houthis are Islamist terrorist organizations, no different from ISIS, and should be treated as such.” This statement was made in response to the October 7 massacre memorial.

Hamas’ recent attack on Israel claimed 1,189 lives, as reported by France 24. The Imam of Peace urged for peace, justice, and a united effort to combat terrorism.
