BREAKING: Remains of Late Army Chief Lagbaja Arrive at Lagos Airport [VIDEO]

The remains of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, have arrived at the military wing of Lagos Airport. This arrival marks a key step in preparations for transporting the body to Abuja for further arrangements.

Upon the arrival of the late Army Chief’s body, senior military officers stood in formation to pay their respects. A full military parade, involving 48 soldiers and officers, is currently being conducted in his honour.

Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja passed away on November 5 in Lagos after battling an illness. Following his death, President Bola Tinubu appointed Olufemi Oluyede as the acting Chief of Army Staff.
