Breaking: 7 passengers died in Lagos-Ibadan expressway car collision
The collision between a Sienna bus whose driver adopted one-way and a passenger bus few metres away from Saapade bridge on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway claimed seven lives on Thursday.
The bus burst into flames following the collision, within the accident which concerned 27 passengers.
The seven passengers who died had been burnt past recognition, in line with the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC.
FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Mrs Florence Okpe informed journalists that 18 passengers additionally sustained numerous diploma of accidents within the accident.
Based on her, the Toyota Sienna bus marked BWR 762 PV collided with a Mazda bus registered BDN 18 LG.
She added that the accident was attributable to extreme velocity and route violation.
