Mr. Macaroni defends Sabinus said “Sabinus winning the AMVCA Award is very well deserved”

Nigerian comic skit maker, Debo Adedayo, known by his stage name Mr. Macaroni has defended his colleague, Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu aka Oga Sabinus who won the AMVCA’s Online social content creators’ award.

Oga Sabinus was nominated alongside other skit makers including Mr. Macaroni and he won the award on Saturday.

However, a fan of Macaroni, Daniel Regha was displeased and attacked Sabinus on Twitter.

Regha tweeted “Sabinus winning the AMVCA award for “Best Online Social Content Creator” is a big joke, no one deserves that recognition more than Macaroni.

“Y’all can hype Sabinus all u want but Macaroni is doing more with his skits than other comedians right now. Sabinus won out of favorit!sm…”

Reacting to the tweet, Macaroni said “Sabinus winning the AMVCA Award is very well deserved!!

“He has brought joy and laughter to the faces of millions including mine. I have also had the pleasure of featuring him in about 3 of my contents. I share in his win.

“Please let us not ruin this beautiful moment.”
