In an unprecedented turn of events, Asake, Kida Kudz, Leeka Beats, and Bella Shmurda may have a collaboration in the works. Asake and Bella Shmurda recently appeared together in a circulating video on social media. Both artists were stopped in the studio recording a song. In addition to Asake’s upcoming collaboration, the Afrobeat artist and other Nigerian artists lost all nominations at the 2024 BRIT awards. Asake stepped out in style for a cross-collaboration between British GQ Magazine and legendary fashion House Christian Louboutin.

Recently Bella Shmurda embarked on a documentary in collaboration with Wetalksound. The documentary took fans behind the scenes into the intricate workings of his annual Tension Rave concert in Ibadan. Bella Shmurda makes a recurring appearance in Ibadan for the Tension Rave concert, drawing in throngs of enthusiastic fans. Additionally, he announced two new music projects dedicated to his late friend and fellow musician, Mohbad, who passed away in September 2023.
