“I Don’t Roll with Failures” – Portable Fires Back at Bella Shmurda
Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has slammed Bella Shmurda in a fiery video response following comments made during a recent podcast appearance.
The tension began when Bella Shmurda was a guest on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast, hosted by comedian Isbae U. When asked if he would ever collaborate with Portable, Bella politely declined, saying, “I don’t see the connection between my sound and Portable’s. I just want peace. No wahala.”
Portable, known for his outspoken nature, didn’t take the comment lightly. In a video rant posted on social media, the Zazuu crooner dismissed Bella’s remark, boasting about his global reach and warning him to keep his name out of interviews.
“Anytime you wan do interview, no call my name. You cannot feature me,” Portable said. “I’ve been to America, London. No be first to blow o, na who dey blow dey go. Which connection wan join me and you? You are a failure. I no dey roll or do music with failures.”
He went further to claim, “You are a failure, you don’t have my money.”

- @horlumedy: “Baddo really plant trouble for this industry.”
- @Adeomo_ola: “Portable will never look away if anyone talks about him. That’s what he does for a living… but he won’t accept it.”

The clash adds to Portable’s growing list of public confrontations, reinforcing his unpredictable presence in the Nigerian music scene.
