Asake Gifts Mother Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Worth $230,000

Nigerian singer and rapper Asake, born Ahmed Ololade, has gifted his mother a new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon reportedly valued at approximately $230,000.

A video circulating on social media shows the moment the artiste presented the vehicle to his mother. In the clip, she appeared emotional as she embraced him while viewing the car.

The gesture comes during the Ramadan period, according to online reports.

Recently, Asake and his mother paid a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, at his palace in Ile-Ife. The monarch shared moments from the visit and noted that the singer spent part of his formative years in the town. He also acknowledged Asake’s mother for her role in his upbringing.

In addition, Asake was seen at a supercar event in Accra, Ghana, where he met with Ghana’s President, John Mahama.

Asake gained prominence with songs including Mr Money and Omo Ope, featuring Olamide, and has since become a notable figure in Nigeria’s Afrobeats scene.
