World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua visited President Bola Tinubu at his Lagos residence on Wednesday, bringing a special gift: an autographed glove. The visit and gesture were shared by Dada Olusegun, the Special Adviser to the President on Social Media, via a post on X.
The glove was inscribed with the words: “To the Great Asiwaju Borgu of Africa, Bola A Tinubu.”
This visit follows Joshua’s recent appointment as Ogun State’s sports ambassador by Governor Dapo Abiodun, which occurred during a courtesy call to the Government House in Abeokuta on Monday.
Joshua, who has Nigerian heritage through his mother and Irish and Nigerian roots from his father, hails from the Yoruba people.
