Skales Reflects on Past Relationships, Vows to Treat Women Better

Nigerian singer John Njenga-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has opened up about his past behavior in relationships, admitting to previous immaturity and expressing a commitment to change.
In a series of posts shared via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, the Shake Body singer acknowledged that he had not always treated women with the respect they deserved.
“I’ve been immature before but I vow to myself to be a real man to women — they deserve it,” he wrote.
Skales, who was raised by a single mother, also used the platform to encourage other men to show kindness and compassion toward women, recognizing the unique challenges women face.
“Love her till she don’t hurt no more… be kind and real to women… it ain’t easy being a woman,” he stated.
He further emphasized that expressing affection should not be viewed as a weakness. “Showing affection to a woman don’t make you a simp but a real man,” he added.
