Toyin Abraham Opens Up About Family Life: “I Have Two Kids… Both Are Schooling in Canada”

Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has shared heartfelt insights into her family life, revealing that both of her children currently live and school in Canada, while she continues her thriving film career in Nigeria.

In an interview reported by Pulse Nigeria, Toyin spoke candidly about her children and her decision to prioritize their education abroad.

“I have two kids. My first daughter is schooling in Canada, and my second born, baby Ire, is in Canada. She schools there and is still in primary school, so I have two children — a boy and a girl,” she said.

The actress explained that sending them abroad was a deliberate move to ensure they receive high-quality education and international exposure. Her daughter, who is older, is well into her academic journey, while her younger child, Ire, is still in primary school—indicating a notable age gap between the two.

When the conversation shifted to her husband, fellow actor Kolawole Ajeyemi, Toyin responded in a light and humorous tone: “So my husband is an actor. His name is Kolawole Ajeyemi.” Though she kept details about their relationship minimal, her tone showed a mix of warmth and her usual playful charm.

Toyin has previously acknowledged the emotional difficulty of being apart from her children, but she remains steadfast in her decision, believing the sacrifice is necessary for their growth and future success.
