Top Aide Claims Tinubu is Lowering Crime, Enhancing Governance, and Strengthening Economic Framework

President Bola Tinubu has been actively working to reduce crime and improve governance across Nigeria, according to his special adviser on policy communication, Daniel Bwala.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, December 18, Bwala highlighted the introduction of the Crime Experience and Security Perception Survey (CESPS) by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) as a key initiative of Tinubu’s administration. The survey aims to provide a data-driven approach to addressing crime and governance issues in Nigeria.
Bwala described the CESPS as a groundbreaking tool for offering detailed insights into crime across the six geopolitical zones, moving away from assumptions to evidence-based policymaking.
He noted that security agencies have shown significant improvement in combating crime, with fewer school attacks reported in the northern region this year.
Additionally, Bwala emphasized that the administration’s economic policies are focused on restructuring governance and creating a more vibrant economy to benefit all Nigerians.
