UEFA Issues Statement Addressing Real Madrid’s Ballon d’Or Controversy

UEFA has issued a statement regarding the recent controversy surrounding the Ballon d’Or awards.Real Madrid chose not to attend the ceremony after discovering that Vinicius Junior lost the award to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
There have been numerous allegations of bias against Real Madrid, which UEFA is now officially dismissing.In a statement published by Sport, UEFA said: “We completely reject the claims about UEFA’s supposed comments on the Ballon d’Or results.
Neither UEFA nor its president has made any statements regarding the award selection, and such reports are entirely baseless and do not reflect the truth.”UEFA also cautioned that it might pursue legal action against anyone involved in spreading these false claims.
