Tinubu takes decisive action, removes 5 ministers from office.

President Bola Tinubu has dismissed five ministers from their positions, effective immediately.Those affected are Barr. Uju-Ken Ohanenye, Minister of Women Affairs; Lola Ade-John, Minister of Tourism; Prof. Tahir Mamman, Minister of Education; Abdullahi Muhammad Gwarzo, Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister of Youth Development.
Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, confirmed this on Wednesday.Additionally, Tinubu has renamed the Ministry of Niger Delta to the Ministry of Regional Development.This move follows Tinubu’s earlier warning to remove ministers who had not met performance expectations since his administration began a year ago.
