Principal in Abuja Found Murdered at Home
Bala Tsoho Musa, the Principal of the Abuja Rehabilitation Center, was tragically murdered by an unknown assailant on Friday night. Musa, affectionately known as “comrade,” was found dead within the center located in Kuchiko, Bwari Area Council, Abuja.
His body was discovered next to his wheelchair, raising concerns about possible foul play.The Abuja Rehabilitation Center, which was established by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), functions as a skill acquisition facility for beggars and individuals apprehended for public disturbances in the area.
Before this tragic event, Musa had been managing the center’s operations.Sources speaking to Daily Trust reported that Musa’s body displayed signs of blunt force trauma, and a wooden object believed to be the murder weapon was found nearby.Additionally, two of his mobile phones were missing, adding to the uncertainty surrounding his death.
The incident may have gone unnoticed for a while due to the noise from a running power generator at the center.It was only when a deaf female assistant, who helps the family as a maid, returned to the hostel that she raised the alarm, bringing attention to the situation.
CSP Babayola Muhammad, the Divisional Police Officer in Bwari, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust but did not provide further details as the investigation is ongoing.The brutal murder of Bala Tsoho Musa has sent shockwaves through the community, and efforts are underway to identify the killer and determine the motive behind the attack.
