Primate Ayodele Warns Akpabio: Senators May Face Disrespect Because of You; Proceed with Caution

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, issued a strong warning on Saturday about Senate President Godswill Akpabio, predicting that a coalition might soon form to remove him from office.
In a video shared on social media, Ayodele expressed concern that Akpabio’s handling of his public statements could cause significant unrest within the Senate. He described Akpabio’s remarks as potentially harmful, suggesting they could lead to widespread disrespect towards the Senate as an institution.
“Akpabio needs to be cautious, as a group may soon conspire to unseat him if he doesn’t control his comments,” Ayodele warned. The cleric further explained that Akpabio’s missteps could lead to divisions within the Senate, reflecting growing dissatisfaction among the senators with his leadership.
Ayodele also predicted that Akpabio’s actions could cause instability in the Senate, emphasizing that senators, who represent the public’s interests, would not tolerate disrespect towards the legislative body.“Akpabio’s leadership could cause the current Senate to lose respect, and those who speak for the people will not stand for it,” Ayodele cautioned.
His warning comes at a time when the Senate is already grappling with challenges to its image and efficiency.Ayodele predicted that Akpabio’s perceived lack of competence could worsen the situation, leading to internal conflicts and heated sessions in the Senate.
“There will be division in the Senate as a result of Akpabio’s incompetence,” he added, pointing to the potential consequences of Akpabio’s leadership. The clergyman’s remarks raise concerns about the stability of Akpabio’s tenure as Senate President.Ayodele suggested that Akpabio’s actions might ultimately lead to his own downfall.
“Akpabio will create problems that could result in his removal, even though the Senate President is primarily a spokesperson for the government,” Ayodele remarked, hinting at a possible crisis. He concluded by predicting that the Senate under Akpabio’s leadership could soon experience disorder, leaving many to question how the situation will unfold.
