Ikenga Ugochinyere: 27 Lawmakers Who Once Celebrated with APC Flags Are Now Filled with Regret
Ikenga Ugochinyere, a member of the House of Representatives, has claimed that the 27 lawmakers from the Rivers State House of Assembly, led by Martins Amaewhule, who recently defected from the PDP to the APC, now regret their decision.
In a video shared by Arise TV, Ugochinyere noted that the lawmakers publicly announced their defection to the APC during a session in the State House of Assembly, where they proudly waved APC flags. He described their move as a poor decision that they now regret.
Ugochinyere further commented: “They defected on the floor of the Rivers State House of Assembly, came outside, waving APC flags and singing ‘on your mandate we shall stand.’
It was a bad decision, one they now regret. In an attempt to make up for it, they are undermining the judicial system to cover up actions that the NJC, Nigerians, and everyone else were aware of when these pro-Wike lawmakers were sacked.”
