LP Chairman Julius Abure Urges Peter Obi to Assist in Reuniting the Party
In a statement released via the Labour Party’s official X handle, Julius Abure hailed the ruling from Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court as a “new dawn” for the party. The decision has brought clarity to the party’s leadership structure, paving the way for unity and progress.
Abure reaffirmed his commitment to championing the cause of the common man and stressed that achieving the party’s objectives will require collective effort from all members.He emphasized that acknowledging mistakes and reconciling with affected members are crucial steps towards rebuilding the party.
Abure urged those who had contributed to the party’s troubles to reflect on their actions, admit their faults, and take steps to repair the damage caused. He stressed the importance of making amends in order to restore the party’s strength.
