LGA: “Wike and His Allies Made a Mistake, Fubara Has Proven His Leadership” – Oladimeji Fabiyi

Oladimeji Fabiyi, a prominent member of the PDP and close ally of Atiku Abubakar, has commented on the ongoing political tension in Rivers State between Governor Siminalayi Fubara and the current FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike. According to Fabiyi, the advice Wike received from his allies was poor, leading to unnecessary conflict in the state.

In a video shared by Symfoni TV, Fabiyi commended Fubara for his maturity in handling the crisis, especially for successfully overseeing the local government elections despite the challenges. Fabiyi praised Fubara’s leadership, stating that his actions demonstrate his strength and capability.

Fabiyi also criticized Wike and his team for allowing division to take root, suggesting that they should have worked alongside Fubara to ensure smoother governance in Rivers State. He expressed that ego, poor advice, and anger have only created turmoil, offering a valuable lesson for other governors and even the president.

In his words: “Wike and his allies are not smart; they made a mistake. They should have advised Wike to work with Fubara for the good of Rivers State. Instead, ego and ill-advice caused unnecessary tension. I congratulate the people of Rivers State and Governor Fubara. He has shown that he is a true leader.”
