Super Eagles Head Coach José Peseiro Provides Fitness Update on Players Ahead of 2023 Africa Cup of Champions Final Against Cote d’Ivoire

The Portuguese International was speaking in a pre-match press conference ahead of the final match. According to him, the team’s midfielder, Zaidu Sanusi will be monitored despite having a light training earlier.

“Sanusi Zaidu had condition training yesterday, we will have the last training session today and we will check him if he will be available.”

The midfielder suffered a knock in the quarter-final game against Angola which ruled him out of the semi-final clash against South Africa. Bright Osayi-Samuel was brought in by Peseiro as a replacement for Zaidu. However, we wait to see who will play the role in the game against Cote d’Ivoire
