Owoh Chimaobi Chrismathner, professionally known as Zoro (also called Zoro Swagbag), is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and performer born on March 20, 1990, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria. He is best known for his energetic rap delivery and consistent use of the Igbo language, making him a leading voice in indigenous Nigerian hip-hop.
Zoro gained national attention in 2016 with the breakout single Ogene, a culturally rooted track that blended traditional Igbo instrumentation with modern hip-hop. The song earned massive airplay and positioned him as a cultural ambassador for Eastern Nigerian rap.
He followed up his success with hit songs such as Achikolo, Landlady, Wetin We Gain, My Love, and Church, collaborating with notable artists including Flavour, Phyno, Falz, Ycee, Mayorkun, and Tekno. His music often explores themes of hustle, social issues, street realities, and cultural pride.
