Teniola Apata aka Teni
Teniola Apata, professionally known as Teni or Teni The Entertainer, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer born on December 23, 1992, in Lagos State, Nigeria. She hails from a musical family and is the younger sister of singer Niniola. Teni studied Business Administration at the American InterContinental University.
She began her music career in 2016 and gained recognition after releasing her breakout single Fargin in 2017. Teni is celebrated for her charismatic personality, powerful vocals, and catchy Afrobeat-inspired anthems. She followed up with hit singles such as Askamaya, Case, Uyo Meyo, and Billionaire.
Signed to Dr Dolor Entertainment, Teni quickly became one of Nigeria’s most loved entertainers, known for blending humor, storytelling, and originality in her music. In 2021, she released her debut album titled WONDALAND, which showcased her diverse sound and creativity.
