Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, professionally known as Oxlade, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on April 22, 1997, in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. He is widely recognized for his smooth vocals, emotional delivery, and unique blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and soul.
Oxlade rose to prominence in 2018 after featuring on Mamiwota alongside Blaqbonez, which introduced him to a broader audience. He gained major attention with his breakout single Away in 2020, a global hit that charted internationally and established him as one of Afrobeatsβ most promising new voices.
He released his debut EP Oxygene in 2020, followed by Eclipse in 2021 and Oxygene 2. Known for heartfelt songwriting and high-pitched vocal runs, Oxlade has delivered popular songs such as Ku Lo Sa, Want You, and DKT. Ku Lo Sa became a viral global sensation, earning international acclaim and streaming success.
