Olajuwon Oluwaseun Opeyemi, professionally known as Islambo, is a Nigerian Afrobeats artist and songwriter born on 5 April 2000, in Sango Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. He completed his Nigerian Certificate in Education (NCE) in Fine Art at the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta. Islambo first gained attention with his 2017 love ballad *“Laiye Laiye”*, before redefining his sound by pioneering a street-rooted subgenre he calls **Lamba**. His breakout came with the energetic anthem *“Lamba Yi”*, followed by the viral collaboration *“Marindoti”* featuring CDQ (2024). His debut EP *Konsoliday* (2024) showcased his evolving style and included hit tracks like *“Colose”* (ft. CitiBoi) and the two-pack *“Wire Check + AfroBTC”* produced by Magicsticks.
