Folarin Falana, professionally known as Falz, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor, and lawyer born on October 27, 1990, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the son of renowned human rights lawyer Femi Falana (SAN) and holds a law degree from the University of Reading in the UK.
Falz began his music career in the early 2010s and rose to fame with his witty lyrics and comedic delivery. His breakout hit Soft Work and the socially conscious This Is Nigeria earned him national acclaim.
Known for blending rap, satire, and social commentary, Falz is also an award-winning actor with credits in Nollywood. His albums such as Stories That Touch, Moral Instruction, and BAHD showcase his versatility and commitment to activism through art.
