Davolee
Shokoya Oluwasegunfunmi, professionally known as Davolee, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on 18 May 1995 in Isolo, Lagos State, Nigeria. Originally from Ogun State, he pursued music after financial constraints prevented university education. Davolee gained recognition with his narrative rap single “Festival Bar” (directed by Moe Musa) and became known for a viral freestyle of Desiigner’s “Panda.” In November 2016, he caught the attention of YBNL boss Olamide and was signed under YBNL Nation. He featured on Olamide’s hit track “Pepper Dem Gang”. Later, he left YBNL and launched his own imprint, New Nation Muzik, releasing songs such as “Way” and “Lock Up” (with Zlatan Ibile).
