Positive Update for Super Eagles and Galatasaray as Victor Osimhen Resumes Training

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has returned to training with Galatasaray after recovering from an injury he suffered during a Super Lig match against Kasımpaşa on September 28, In that match, Osimhen scored two goals but was substituted at halftime due to discomfort in his left hamstring.
Galatasaray’s medical staff diagnosed him with a strain that involved some minor bleeding.Osimhen’s injury was a significant blow for the Super Eagles as they prepared for their AFCON qualifying match against Libya, which Nigeria won 1-0. After the game, Osimhen reassured fans that he was “fine,” experiencing only slight discomfort in his leg.
The 25-year-old missed Galatasaray’s UEFA Europa League match against Rigas FC, as well as a Super Lig game against Alanyaspor.
Galatasaray announced Osimhen’s return to training on Instagram, indicating that he was working individually under a specialized program.
Previously, Osimhen had assured fans about his recovery, stating he felt “fine” and had only minor leg discomfort.His comeback enhances Galatasaray’s attacking options and raises Nigeria’s prospects for their upcoming international fixtures.
