Harry Kane Responds to Bayern Munich’s Downturn in Form
Former Tottenham Hotspur player Harry Kane has joined his voice to other players who have reacted to his team’s defeats in the last three games.
The Bavarians suffered three defeats in a row for the first time this season, this is a performance that Bayern Munich supporters are not used to. The England international expressed his disappointment via his official X account on Monday, February 19, 2024, after his team lost 3-2 to Bochum in the league.
He said,
“No hiding from a tough week with performances and results not at the level we expect from ourselves. Got to pull together as a group and push forward – big run of important games coming up to turn it round.”
This loss to 11th-place Bochum means that Bayer Leverkusen are now eight points ahead of Bayern Munich who sit in second place. However, there are reports that Thomas Tuchel will not be sacked despite the team’s poor form in all competitions.
