Full List of EPL Clubs Representing England in European Competitions 2023-2024
The English Premier League came to an end a few weeks ago just like other leagues in Europe. The 2022/23 season was a very enjoyable and interesting season, with the football fans patiently waiting for a new season to kickstart after the summer transfer window.
Although we still have over two months for the new season to come, clubs are currently preparing and strengthening themselves ahead of the 2023/24 season.
However, in the English Premier League, Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City was able to lift their third consecutive premier league trophy after Arsenal bottled the lead towards the end of the season.
Arsenal were dominant throughout the season but lacked the fighting spirit of the Champions, which gave way for Manchester City to leapfrog them to the title.
Despite losing the Premier League and failing to win any trophy last season, Arsenal football clubs’ only achievement last season was qualifying for the Champions League for the first time since 2016.
Arsenal will now play in European top-flight competition alongside Manchester United and Newcastle United who finished third and fourth respectively.
Liverpool and Brighton and Hove Albion qualified for the Europa League next season, while West Ham United joined them to make it three teams after beating Fiorentina to clinch the Europa Conference League trophy. Aston Villa will now be the only premier league team that will represent England in next season’s Europa Conference League.
UCL: Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Newcastle United.
UEL: Liverpool, Brighton and Hove Albion, West Ham United.
UECL: Aston Villa.
