EPL: Check Out the Table After Manchester United Dropped Points, While Chelsea and Arsenal Won

Manchester United hosted Wolverhampton Wanderers at Old Trafford on Sunday in a Premier League clash that came shortly after United’s intense Europa League outing.
The Red Devils controlled much of the first half, dictating the tempo and possession, but couldn’t find a way through Wolves’ stubborn defense. Both teams struggled to create clear-cut chances, and the first half ended goalless.
United’s attacking duo, Rasmus Hojlund and Jorgen Strand Larsen, were largely ineffective, failing to trouble the Wolves’ backline throughout the match.
In response to the deadlock, Wolves manager Ruben Amorim made several substitutions around the 60-minute mark, bringing on Bruno Fernandes, Mason Mount, and Diogo Dalot in hopes of sparking some energy and breaking the stalemate.
But it was United who finally made the breakthrough, capitalizing on a brief lapse in concentration by the visitors. Substitute Pablo Sarabia made the difference late in the game, scoring a brilliant goal with just 15 minutes remaining. His perfectly placed curling shot into the top right corner left United goalkeeper Andre Onana with no chance.
That decisive strike, as Amorim noted, was a turning point, and it handed Wolves their 15th loss of the league season. The Portuguese manager now faces renewed pressure to fix his side’s inconsistency and missed opportunities.
Meanwhile, the victory was a much-needed boost for United as they look to strengthen their position in the league standings and finish the season on a high.
For Wolves, the match was a harsh lesson on how quickly things can change when you fail to make your chances count.
