El Clásico: Real Madrid Faces Another Injury Setback Before Match Against Barcelona.
Real Madrid faces another significant injury setback ahead of their La Liga El Clásico match against Barcelona on Saturday. The club announced on Wednesday that their starting goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has been diagnosed with an adductor injury in his left leg.
This injury comes after Courtois played in Real Madrid’s Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund, where they won 5-2. “After conducting tests on Thibaut Courtois, our medical staff has confirmed an adductor injury in his left leg.
We will monitor his recovery closely,” read the statement from Real Madrid. Additionally, Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has also suffered a muscular injury and will miss the El Clásico at the Santiago Bernabéu this weekend.
