Chelsea’s Jimmy-Jay Morgan Joins Gillingham on Loan
Chelsea have confirmed that 19-year-old forward Jimmy-Jay Morgan has left the club on loan to join Gillingham for the rest of the season.
The move was announced in a statement by the Blues ahead of their Premier League clash with Manchester City this weekend.
Morgan, who joined Chelsea from Southampton in February 2023, has primarily featured for the club’s Under-21 side, making ten appearances in Premier League 2 this season and scoring six goals.
The England youth international will now continue his development with Gillingham, aiming to gain valuable first-team experience.
Chelsea wished the player well, stating, “Chelsea forward Jimmy-Jay Morgan will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Gillingham. Good luck, Jimmy-Jay!”
