Chelsea Exclude 4 Players to Play Crucial Champions League Fixture against Salzburg
It has been confirmed by Chelsea FC that four of its first-team players will miss the Champions League fixture against Salzburg.
In an official statement shared by Chelsea FC today, Monday, October 24, 2022, the club confirmed that four players would miss out on the crucial UEFA Champions League group stages fixture against Salzburg.
It was reported that Chelsea FC finalized their training for today ahead of the fixture scheduled for 5:45 pm West Africa Time on Tuesday, October 24, 2022. The players missing in action include Reece James, Wesley Fofana, N’Golo Kante and a recent addition Kalidou Koulibaly who picked up a knock in the midweek action against Brentford.
The official travelling squad would be released later after the pre-match conference scheduled for today. This champions league fixture is crucial for Chelsea as it would cement their place on top of the table and secure a ticket into the round of 16 of the competition.
