Bukayo Saka Achieves New Milestone for Arsenal
Arsenal’s Rising Star Bukayo Saka Reaches Career Milestone Many Players Aspire For
The England International scored his 50th goal for the Gunners in the team’s demolition of West Ham at the London Stadium on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Bukayo Saka reached this huge landmark having played the 210th game in all competitions for the Gunners.
Arsenal’s 6-0 win at West Ham and Newcastle’s 8-0 win at Sheffield United, 2023-24 is the first English top-flight season to see two separate 6+ goal victories by away sides since 1959-60 (Man Utd 6-0 Blackpool and West Brom 7-1 Birmingham.
This match was also the Hammers’ joint-heaviest ever home league defeat, and the Gunners’ joint-biggest ever away league victory. It is also the second time a side managed by David Moyes has conceded 6 goals in a Premier League home game, with both times coming against Arsenal, the other time was when he was at Everton when his side lost 6-1 to Arsenal in August 2009.
