Presidency Confirms Tinubu’s Upcoming Cabinet Reshuffle
During a press conference at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, voiced concerns about the Nigerian public’s lack of awareness regarding government efforts, despite significant initiatives.
Onanuga confirmed President Tinubu’s intention to reshuffle his cabinet, though no specific timeline has been provided.
He stated, “The President has expressed his desire to reshuffle his cabinet, and he will do it. Whether it happens before October 1st, I don’t know, but it will surely happen.”
Regarding the administration’s performance, Onanuga mentioned that President Tinubu, during the last Federal Executive Council meeting, instructed all ministers to actively communicate their achievements.
He urged them to overcome their reluctance to engage with the media, explaining, “There is a perception that the government isn’t doing enough, but a lot is being done. Ministers need to go out and promote their ministries’ accomplishments.”
