The former member of the Senate and spokesperson for the Atiku Campaign Council, Senator Dino Melaye, has made it known to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) that they “are ready to die this time around” if the election is compromised. .

Dino made this public call to INEC via his verified Facebook page. According to him, INEC must avoid creating a war. To this, he added that the authentic result, which is the people’s choice, must be the one that is announced.

Melaye, to this extent, reminded INEC that there is no more manual computation of results and also stated categorically that “they are ready to die” if the result is compromised by security agencies or INEC.

This message from Melaye to INEC comes after an alleged and unverified report of rigging in some states of the federation.

Nigerians are, however, waiting and trusting electoral body to come up with the authentic result as the collation of results continues.
