Natasha Akpoti Stirs Reactions With TikTok Video Featuring Tinubu’s ‘Omo Ologo’ Track

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central has drawn attention online after posting a TikTok video using President Bola Tinubu’s themed song “Omo Ologo” as background music.
According to a report by The Cable, the song gained popularity during a dinner event in Katsina State on May 3, where singer Dauda “Rarara” Kahutu performed it in honor of Tinubu. The event, attended by the President and other dignitaries, celebrated Tinubu’s two-day visit to the state, which focused on assessing the local security situation. Katsina is also the home state of former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Rarara’s song, “Omo Ologo” (meaning “glorious child” in Yoruba), praised Tinubu as a triumphant leader who has overcome his critics. The performance was said to have energized the audience at the dinner.
In the now-viral 15-second TikTok video, Senator Natasha is seen smiling playfully at the camera while the song plays in the background. Her caption read, “Just for fun, song choked,” which sparked mixed reactions online. While some viewers found it humorous and light-hearted, others suggested it may carry political implications.
This comes shortly after Natasha, who is currently suspended from the Senate, shared a satirical apology video directed at Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Facebook. Following that, Akpabio’s legal team asked a federal high court in Abuja to compel her to delete the video from all her social media platforms.
