Former Army Chief Praises Fubara for Conducting Rivers Local Government Election

Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah (retd), has praised Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara for the smooth execution of the local government elections held on Saturday.CONTINUE
In a congratulatory message shared with journalists in Uyo on Sunday, Minimah highlighted the governor’s determination to ensure the elections went forward as planned, calling the successful outcome a major achievement for the state.
Minimah encouraged Governor Fubara to stay focused on advancing the development of Rivers State. He also urged politicians to prioritize the well-being of their people, putting the interests of their constituents first.
“I commend Governor Siminalayi Fubara for overseeing the smooth conduct of the local government elections and for his unwavering commitment to making sure they happened. The election’s success marks an important milestone for the state, and Fubara’s leadership has been evident.
I urge him to continue with the same dedication to development,” Minimah stated.He added that the peaceful and successful elections were a testament to Fubara’s commitment to the grassroots. Minimah also extended his praise to the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission and the people of the state for their role in ensuring the success of the elections.
