President Bola Tinubu has appointed former Sports Minister Sunday Dare as the Special Adviser on Public Communications and Orientation. The Presidency announced Dare’s appointment in a statement on Wednesday, emphasizing the President’s commitment to enhancing the administration’s efficiency through key actions.
Dare, who previously served as the Minister of Sports and Youth Development during the Buhari administration, expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for the new role. In a post on X, Dare expressed his pride in serving the nation again under Tinubu’s leadership, thanking the President for his continued trust in him.
The announcement followed the President’s decision to reshuffle his cabinet, which included the dismissal of five ministers, the appointment of seven new ministers, and the reassignment of 10 others to different roles.Among the new appointees are Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.
Other key appointments include Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as the Minister of Labour and Employment, Idi Mukhtar Maiha as Minister of Livestock Development, Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
