They Are Unable To Settle for The Truth Of A Majority Vote Until It Is Their Majority — Sam Omatseye
Renowned Nigerian novelist, Sam Omatseye, recently took to his verified Twitter account to reveal that the supporters of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Gregory Obi, are unable to accept the fact of the majority vote unless it is their majority, or reality unless it is their reality.
He alleged that Obi supporters are blinded by the fact that the majority of the votes didn’t go to their principal, Peter Obi, in the presidential election.
Recall that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Gregory Obi, had filed a petition against the winner of the presidential election, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), saying that the election was marred with malpractice and Tinubu was unlawfully declared president-elect.
However, In contrast to this Petition, Omatseye strongly believes that the supporters of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party are unable to accept the fact of the majority vote unless it is their majority.
He pointed out that there exists an inclination, among supporters of the Labour Party (LP), to only acknowledge the legitimacy of a majority vote or accept the reality of a situation when it aligns with their interests.

He said, “They are unable to accept the fact of a majority vote unless it is their majority, or reality unless it is their reality. But Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Tinubu has not given a hint of gloating. He wants a rainbow nation of cooperation. They would rather not accept his love.”
