South-East: If They Can’t Allow Us To Be Part Of The Country, They Should Allow Us To Go-Chief Nwaji
With few days before the election into the principal offices of the national assembly, the House of Representatives candidate in the February 25 National Assembly election for Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency of Abia State, under the platform of the Action People’s Party (APP), Chief Sylvanus Nwaji, has called on the need for the senate president position to go to the South East.
Chief Nwaji who was speaking to Sun Newspaper in an exclusive interview, decried the marginalization of the Igbo people in sensitive positions.
He stated that the marginalization is deliberate. According to him if they don’t want the Igbo to be part of the country they should be allowed to go.
Hear him “You can see that in the Bible, God instructed Abraham to allow Ishmael, the son of Sarah’s maid, to go because he didn’t belong to the real family. If they don’t want us; if they can’t allow us to be part of the country, they should allow us to go.” Chief Nwaji told Sun Newspaper during the interview.
