Rudeboy Encourages Nigerians to Confront Reality Post-AFCON, Addresses Rising Cost of Living

Nigerian music sensation Paul Okoye, widely recognized as Rudeboy, has urged fellow Nigerians to face the harsh realities of life after AFCON.
With the Super Eagles’ defeat in the AFCON finals still fresh in everyone’s minds, Rudeboy took to social media on Sunday, February 11, 2024, to ask a pertinent question: “How much be bag of rice?”
The artist, known for his outspoken nature, did not stop there. He also expressed curiosity about the prices of fuel, cement, and the exchange rate of the dollar. In a witty remark, he even offered to attend any planned nude protests, urging organizers to inform him of the location and time.

However, he also took to his X to write, “Fuel, cement, food, dollar, cost of living, insecurity, and dead economy, …. After afcon e go clear. Enjoy the moment ….” In another post after the match, he wrote, “Now let’s all focus on our country.”
With a mix of humor and urgency, Rudeboy’s words resonated with many as they grappled with the challenges and uncertainties of daily life beyond the football pitch.
