Rivers Crisis: Aisha Yesufu Responds to Goodluck Jonathan, Accuses Ex-President of Bringing in Wike, Blames Him for Current Issues

Nigerian activist Aisha Yesufu has criticized former President Goodluck Jonathan, holding him responsible for bringing Nyesom Wike into power, which she believes is at the root of the current crisis in Rivers State.
Earlier, it was reported by NigeriaMedia that Jonathan had issued a statement regarding the ongoing local government election and the long-standing issues in Rivers. He urged political leaders in the state to avoid fueling further conflicts.

Meanwhile, activist Deji Adeyanju also warned Wike, emphasizing that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) is not like Rivers State, where election results can be manipulated and violence used to intimidate.

Additionally, a court dismissed appeals made by companies linked to the $15.5 million case involving Patience Jonathan, as they attempted to retract their guilty pleas.
